Our focus now is oversight of the construction activities following 10 years of fighting for substantial changes to the design of the railway. The fight for best available mitigation for handling the Coombe Hill Aquifer and operational train noise goes on.

Noise

We believe a retained cutting (with near-vertical sides) & arched barriers will ensure noise levels remain as promised. You can check noise at your property by clicking here.

Water

We believe the North Cutting can be re-designed to prevent damage to the aquifer & flooding in Aylesbury.

Traffic

We believe the construction planning should be modified and the A413 be re-aligned to prevent future traffic misery & unnecessary delays.

Environment

We believe restoring, replanting & screening will protect the visual beauty & long-term future of the AONB.

Community

We believe HS2-funded improvement works can off-set some of the harm done to Wendover's unique village atmosphere.
